After the debacle of the past two days.. should she resign?.. or be sacked?.. or is it not her fault?

These type of mistakes are rarely a ministers fault in the personal sense so I guess it is about the buck has to stop somewhere and someone has to take ultimate responsibility.
I would prefer they put time effort and money into improving the systems they set up and in fact ensure the systems work.
The irony of the sex offenders register is that whilst I whole heartedly support it as a protection to our children we will never ever be able to sit back and rely on this system as there are so many who are not charged not found guilty and cleared and who are not even known about but I guess that is a different issue.
If she is sacked or forced to resign we will have another faceless politician take her place who has no more chance of getting it right one hundered per cent than she did.
So my answer would be what is the point let her try to work harder on getting it right.

good point... I too doubt it was actually her fault, but someone has to take the blame for this..
