I saw a documentary last night regarding the 9/11 disaster. It was centered around the families of lost loved ones, but only about the ones that actually jumped from the building, and more significantly; What was behind the minds of people jumping 100+ storeys?! Yes, before u say "Oh, it was like a furnace and there was no other choice!" The "Falling man" and his family were deeply religious, and though it appears to be a jump that leads to death, his ultimate faith (as they believed) lead him to what he believes to be another place. This is belief in it's utmost extreme, and can only be looked upon by others with awe. Would one really do this in the sake of faith? I believe so, and that is what makes this picture so powerful. It is not so much a last cry for life due to intoxicating heat, but a leap for the next place.... Sometimes we all need to leap to get somewhere safe... Belief is what makes you human. Faith is what makes you strong, and Love keeps you everlasting. p.s. I love you all
