Why is it that when u go out and buy a plasma telly - 6 months later they start selling these damn HD (high definition) TV's and say your old one is c*ap? So paying 1500 quid for something is only c*ap because they want more money out of you. Mobile phonies - got one - video player the lot. As soon as I walk out of the shop and get in my car they got a new one in that has a bigger screen and a built in sat nav - bollox. Things like pc games - buy one and suddenly a newer version is out 6 months later with better graphics and better gameplay etc. This marketing/developing thing is non stop and I have decided to stick with what I got and not spend any more money trying to feed these leeches. Rant over. Peace, badda.

I try to keep whatever I got until it breakes or crashes, then buy the newest for the moment. A tv used to last for ten years, its not like that anymore. So the stuff gets lousier too.....

most tech things seem to have a life of 3yrs.. then they dont work properly anymore.. I wonder if they put special timers in the d*mn things.. our microwave suddenly stopped working yesterday. However, it has been making funny noises and flashes of lightning from the inside recently. I think it was on borrowed time but used to warm up a pasty real quick have to buy a new one now... they're quite cheap these days. I remember when thery 1st came out - (cook from the inside out) myth. were quite expensive like vhs videos were 400quid but now u can get em for 40 quid.. dvd players 30 quid lol the good thing about not buying the latest equipment is that if you wait a few years u can get it for next to nothing we just bought a dyson "animal" esepcially for cleaning carpets with dog hair on it. Works like a dream. Apparently they never lose suction...but for just under 300 quid i would want it to cook aswell.
