I like the odd game here and there lol - am learning a lot playing the leagues but its time consuming so probably won't stay there for ever. Good to see some friends playing though.

Backgammon league is c*ap! Its like its decided from start where you end. Ive been on top and at bottom, and when Im on top every dice go my way, as on the bottom no way. It doesnt matter if I really am to win, then my opponent gets like 5 doubles in a row and wins. I complained to Pingu who is an admnistrator, and I hope others that seen this will too. And I have heard it from others too..... #stomp# #stomp# #stomp#

I agree it is a most strange thing backgammon on shock - firstly when it comes to reckoning day there appears to be no logic. The other week someone who was not top of 1b league was suddenly promoted to elite - what that is all about I have no idea.
Secondly this doubles thing - I played for a few hours last night on a real board with hand thrown dice and no where near as many doubles were thrown with the dice as there is on the shockplay version. But most importantly the doubles evened out over a period of time.
My last two games on shock my opponent has had a phemomenal amount of doubles compared to me and often they have appeared in the key stage of the game turning what should have been a win for me to a loss.
I am no bad loser and genuinely respect those who outplay me (there are some very good players who are a joy to watch) but on shock I often feel cheated. Have thought of leaving the league and just playing for fun again where funnily enough this does not seem to happen so often.

One question I'd love to know the answer to is: Is the prog for the dice different in the normal game to the League? it does seem to be to me!! #banghead# #Mad_anim#
